Hello from Winnipeg

Rob, good to see you're a hard-core junkie now. :D I knew sticking CGN in your bookmarks would infect you good.

I just got all my guns back at my house and came on looking for some odds and ends and there's Rob at the top of the page.

Although I moved away from Winnipeg, there are a few good private ranges in the area. The Firing line is a nice friendly place. Good place to meet people of similar interests. There's also a lot of good guys that have loads of land to go plink, and hunt if you get to know them. Just watch out for Rob though, he's shifty. haha. (ownt)

LoL, Sup Dave. Happy to hear you got your guns back. My Collection is growing. Hope you come down soon with some toys and we'll hit the range :dancingbanana:

As far as how to be a guest at the Firing line, you have to be-friend a member and he can sign you in as a Guest for 10$ and if you do not have P.A.L. restricted the member will have to Borrow you a gun as well as show you the proper way to handle and discharge the pistol at the range. As soon as I finish installing my new Volquartsen firing pin, extractor, Guide rod and bolt buffer in my Krinker, it's off to the Range :D

Cheerz

P.S. Dave call me sometime you god dam filthy irishman.:)

Gentlemen,

I have been a member of the firing line, twice. First, when they opened, on Century, and now, where they are at the moment. Unfortunately, my membership expires this month. When I signed up last year, I didn't expect to be in an accident. I was only able to go once, then, well, I was sorta laid up, and am still mending. It doesn't look like I will be able to afford the membership renewal, as of yet. MPIC cut off my wage replacement, in July, and since then, I have been living wage-less. Not easy. I can't move much, can't do much, and now, I can't afford to if I was even able to to begin with.

Anyway, with regards to the Firing Line, yes, all handguns, and .22 rifles only.

I have a bit of a "selection" of tools in the box. Thing is, I had been "away" from so much, for a number of years. I start to get back into my life's dreams, and then this setback. It ain't fun guys, beleive me.

But I keep trying. My faith will take me through it.

Sean

Another Pegger. We usually have a CGN Manitoba shoot at the Selkirk range a couple of times a year. I keep meaning to put together one at the Wpg Trap and Skeet - maybe this spring!

Hey I'm a Pegger too !

I've been thinking of hitting the Wpg Trap and Skeet for some long needed practise and would for sure be interested if you put together a shooting day.

Tim.

Welcome aboard :) Not a Wpg'er just a bit north.I am more of a hunter than a shooter like shooting,love hunting.Must be a adrenaline thing.Anyways:cheers:

Actually I am a hunter(grouse) vastly more than a shooter, but I do like to shoot some skeet to keep the adrenaline flowin' and the skills from rustin'

Firing line is guest friendly?
Can you say what you have to do to show up as a guest?

To be a guest you need to know someone who is a member of the Firing line. For $10 bucks and your signiture your in. The person signing you in is responsible for you, making sure you follow this ranges' rules. The member acts as your own range officer. Hope this helps.:)
