Hello from your local friendly firearms lawyer

Welcome to the site as a business member.

When we did that revolver deal a while back (in your old persona) I had no idea you were a lawyer. It is good to know that another barrister is on CGN and on our side and a actually owns guns.

Of course, I hope I never need your services. Perhaps we will bump into each other in Ottawa some day- in my old career I used to deal with a fair number of lawyers in small communities outside the city and have a good friend who is my general go-to lawyer and political-analyst-over-a-beer-buddy.

Seeing as how your practice seems to be confined to the Ontario/Quebec area of the country, I wonder if you'd know of any firearms-friendly lawyers out West (Alberta) if - heaven forbid - the need should arise?

Names (at this point) aren't necessary (and no, I'm not in any legal trouble - just living by the Scouts motto : Be Prepared!).

Yes, I do know of some good criminal lawyers in Alberta and would always be happy to refer individuals to one, should the need arise.

Hi,

Unfortunately, Quebec is the only province which I cannot practice in. I can, and do, however, provide firearms law advice and support to criminal lawyers providing representation to gun owners in Quebec.
 
Welcome and be careful what you post in case somebody (the prosecution) might research you and your views.
