We had a good year in spite of the warm weather. We were fortunate enough to draw a bull tag and got our bull the third day of opening week. We also got three bucks during deer season. A four, eight, and really nice ten pointer. Makes up for the tree I shot during muzzleloader season last year. lol

Real slow start to the grouse season (Sept 10 in BC) as Harley ate some very bad stuff and had surgery. Started hunting in earnest in October and Harley got better every day. Favourite shot was a good point followed by a right to left pass with lots of time (time is not something you get a lot of for wingshooting here), pulled the trigger as the bird was deking between two big spruce. Thought I hit him but was not sure. Walked over past the spruce and Harley had to find him but judging by all the feathers floating through the air I knew it was a good shot. Last bird of the day and Harley had a really good day finishing with a great point. Excellent grouse year in this part of BC.
