I am just getting into pistol shooting would like your expert opinion on a purchase and up coming purchases.I bought a CZ 75 kadet 22 cal to try to learn some technique cost effectively any comments good or bad on this gun.I am going to buy a 9mm in a couple of weeks Glock 34,berretta 9otwo,sigp226,springfield1911-a1,CZ 85 combat .Any suggestions as to which would be the best of this group.

First off...
Welcome aboard!
I've read lots of good things about your current and future choices.
That said, I've had a G17 and CZ75.
Loved them both, but as I don't shoot nearly as much as I'd like to, sold the Glock .
The best advice I can give is to handle/shoot as many of these guns as you can. They are all quality firearms, but no amount of opinion will tell how it fits your hand.

Welcome to the board bj. A word of advice to you - your question about particular pistols would be better posted in the "Pistols and Revolver" forum in the "firearms" section. There's not much chance anyone will expect a question like that in this area, so you probably won't get an answer here.

Also, some guys are downright rude when it comes to expecting you to know this stuff. But, don't let me scare you, most of us are easier to get along with.

Hi. Try 'em on for size in a gun shop before you buy. The fit to your hand is important. You have to be able to easily reach the trigger with no straining. Changing the grips can fix a too small fit, but rarely too large. Depends on the pistol's frame.

I'm really surprised.
An open ended question like this should have produced at least 13 pages of opinions, rebuttals and a couple of verbal fist fights.
