Hello! New nut, seeks advice.

Hi, my name is Drew.
I am 28, live in West Toronto and am a long-time airgun and firearm enthusiast...although I have very little practical experience with the latter. I have recently completed my FAC and will soon be purchasing a more powerful airgun. Although I never dreamed of owning a firearm... my interest is increasing and I am considering buying or building a .22. I am wondering where the best clubs/places are in the Toronto area to join/discharge such devices? I also completed the restricted component of the FAC and may, at a later time, become interested in acquiring a firearm of said nature. I would like to join a club that is as close to me (and affordable) as possible and offers a wide variety of disciplines (I also own a compound bow) and possibly instruction. I would also be interested in meeting up with anyone who could share with me their related experience or offer any advice.

Thank you kindly.

Welcome aboard! :D
Welcome to the sport and good job on completing the tests!
I hear Guelph has a nice club and Galt is a little farther up.
Sorry I know that's not much help.
Try looking here.
I'm sure you'll get more repy's from Torontonians. Good luck!
If you think you might be traveling a little farther west, p.m. me and we might be able to set something up. ;)

Thank you!

I have come into quite a bit of spare time as I am off work due to a degenerative spinal cond. My days of extreme sports and whatnot are fading fast and thus am looking into more body friendly activities. I have a car and enjoy using it. Any time out of this city is a good time.

you mean you recently passed your PAL test and restricted as well.no such thing as FAC anymore.if so apply for the restricted PAL then you are good for everything.and welcome, make sureyou don't shoot your eye out with the airsoft:p

Believe me, after 28 years, I'd love to...but, living in this city pays my bills.
I am looking into Guelph. Seems like a large facility.
The Hammer and K/W area seem to have some nice clubs too.
EESA???
I have also heard of 2 inner-city clubs @ Royal York/Queensway and Dixie/Lakeshore. Anyone familiar with these locations?
