First time here, long time hunter. With the recent changes to Alberta legislation, I'm excited that my 10-year-old is now able to hunt here in Alberta. Excited he can hunt, but sad as my cost of hunting will now rise.

He hasn't quite grown into his great grandfather's Browning BLR .308 that I have waiting for him, so I'm on the lookout for a compact for him to use for the next couple years.

Thanks. He's definitely a die-hard. He was on his first hunt when he was 17 days old. Now at almost 11, he hasn't missed a hunt.
