Good day to all, I'm looking forward to being a member of this community.
I'm sort of a techie redneck-wannabe.
I very recently acquired 3 of the 7 firearms minimum I definitely will NEED. :)
Own:
.308 semi (M14-S)
.22 semi rifle
12-gauge pump (Mossy 535, 28")
Wishlist:
6" Beretta U22 Neos
CZ-858
large caliber handgun (advice required?)
bolt rifle (advice required?)

Oh, and if anyone has recommendations/preferences regarding scope mounts for the M14-S comments would be appreciated.

Welcome, large caliber handgun would really need to be a norinco 1911 in .45. Then if you really like it you can upgrade or sell it to get something a little more high end. If you just want a cheap o then Kodiak has some in .40 and .45 in Hi Point for less than 300 bucks new. Semi auto well then M14 or your #### will fall off is the most common phrase around these part.....lol

I'm also a techie in my day job, but a country boy at heart.
Regarding handguns, I would just drop the cash for something nice from the get-go. No use wasting money. If you don't like it, I'm sure you'll find someone who will take it off your hands very fast.
