Hi there from South Alberta,
I was wondering if any of you would be able to point me in the right direction to find a course to get my pal. I'm currently in Medicine hat Alberta so if anyone knows the area and where i can go to get it done that'd be great.
thanks in advance

The first question is :do you have a PAL? If so registration is fairly easy. follow this link. http://www.cfc-cafc.gc.ca/default_e.asp
Read the pre registration information closely, then proceed. If you get snagged call the 1 800 # and the CFC people will help you. I have called them several times over the years with questions and help and they have always been polite and courteous in assisting me.

I noticed you changed your post. To find a firearms course in your area the easiest way is to call or visit your local gun stores. They will most certainly have the contact information for a course instructor. The firearms course for your PAL is not very difficult. It is mostly common sense. Gunexams.com has a basic sample exam you can take for free (once you sign in). Good luck, I'm sure you will pass. My wife with no previous firearm experience passed with a 96%.
