hi there, my name is Tom, i live in kingston ontario.
i am new to the the sport of target shooting and hunting, this was my first year.
i have already desided on a shotgun (870 sps supermag max gobbler) and a rifle for big game (model 700 300 rem ultra mag)
i am looking for sugestions for a long range target rifle, longer the range the better.

You have a very good range at Kingston they have shoots in spring and fall out to 600 y F class & target rifle very well run. no ulta mags allowed there usually 223, 308win and other f class guns 65x55, 260 rem etc
.223 is popular as well .308 couple hours to Connaught to shoot 1000 yards
