Not new to the scene but I am currently waiting on my PAL. Grew up in rural Sask on a Ranch currently reside in Alberta though. Working for an environmental company.
Started shooting when I was about 8 years old out on the farm and at the local gun club with dad. Mostly shoot for hunting purposes which are primarily deer and moose. Want to go elk hunting this year though.
Rifles that I will be having transferred out of my fathers name as soon as my PAL comes in are a Lee Enfield Jungle Carbine, a .270 parker hale, a Anschutz .22, and my great great grand father's double barrel shot gun.
Once my PAL comes in I will be looking at picking up a .223 unsure what make yet and another larger caliber rifle that I can use for moose hunting as well as elk hunting.
Other than my obvious interests in hunting and shooting. I drive a Jeep TJ that I am currently in the slow process($$) of building for wheeling hoping to have a winch on it and re-geared in the next year(I said hoping). I also do a lot of hiking, backpacking and climbing. I also alpine ski and do a bit snowshoeing.
