Looking for any feedback on hell’s canyon Armory carbon fibre wrapped barrels. I am in the process of ordering one to try but would like some feedback good or bad before I do. I know they run benchmark liners which I am happy with but some real world experience would be appreciated thanks!

Benchmark makes excellent blanks, so if they shoot as good as a Benchmark, you should be really happy.

As far as Hells Canyon, I know nothing about them. Hopefully they do a good job with the carbon sleeve portion. Hardy and Carbonsix are other good options as well.

in comparison to other carbons out there accuracy is good as they are benchmark blanks...they are just heavy we found when compared to the Hardy and Proof stuff. Only other fact that concerns me is the fact they let you cut the barrel and install a brake with no steel shoulder or steel barrel area to shoulder the brake on. Over time I wonder if the carbon will fray or chip in that area. Just some food for thought

I have spun up a few of the hells canyon blanks, they shoot well, as Harley stated it’s a little funky at the muzzle end when you either crown it or thread it for a brake. But they have turned out good. The carbon is a little soft so who ever Chambers it for you make sure they are aware epesially ifvthey use a viper jig to dial in the barrel. Here is a 5 shoot group out of a creedmoor I built a couple weeks ago.

Awesome the few things I have heard about them have been positive they must be confident in the carbon fibre strength to thread and install a break on it. I was a little worried about that but couldn’t find anyone saying they had issues with it mind you not many guys have had 100’s of rounds down them either mostly hunting setups.

I'm really surprised they don't do that. No metal shoulder would scare me as well.
