Help! 7mm rem mag 150gr etip data

Hey all,

Fairly new to reloading. I purchased some 7mm rem mag 150gr nosler etips by mistake and trying to work up for this using supreme 780 but there is no load data for this powder nor is there for the h1000 powder I have. I was wondering if someone has any incite on what to do, I was thinking of using a small load of supreme 780, 60gr, do you think this will be safe?

I've contacted nosler and winchester with no luck.

I know that there are loads for this bullet with h4831 and h100v which have similar burn rates. If I use one of those do you think it'll be safe? Even if I'm on the lower end?

I just don't want to waste them and use them for at least target practice.

Any help would be great!

Hodgons shows 64-68 grains for a 150 partition. even if the e-tip is a little different to load for pressure wise, my experience shows that there is a large safety margin with the 7. H1000 is showing the same minimum and maximum but I am sure there is much more room to work with there. Ensure you are well versed on watching the classic signs of pressure and if not don't exceed max for sure.

It says in the Nosler manual to ALWAYS start with the starting load data and work up slowly due to internal construction of the E-Tip.

Supreme 780 starting 63.9gr 2913fps - max 68.0gr 3081fps
H1000 starting 65.0 gr 2835 fps - max 68.0gr 2936 fps

These loads were using the 150 gr Partition and are in the Hodgdon 2014 Annual Reloading magazine...its on magazine racks now $10 and worth it.
I called Nosler when I bought some 90gr E-Tips for my 6mm Rem when they first came out, they said to use their 90gr Accubond data and start 10% less and work up carefully.
