Help a beginner pick a kit.

... you do realize there's match grade military ball ammo too, right? And a bolt action rifle won't care very much what's stamped on the case head once the brass is fireformed...

Thanks for letting me know. I can't get over some of the stuff posted in this section.

Nice rifle for your first precision rig, I hope it serves you well and you learn lots from it! Also a good choice on the scope, I have several pieces of Vortex equipment and I love them all, from my least expensive Crossfire scope right up to my most expensive Razor HD! Don't forget, that should you ever need it, the warranty is a No Fault, Unconditional Lifetime Warranty that is transferrable and there is no receipt needed! Gotta love those Vortex!

Lesson one was learned today...

The scope on a rifle DOES NOT work the same way as a Scope on my compound bow....

Dumb rookie mistake and was excited to fire off my 40 rounds I picked up, so when I hit high, I turned my turrets to the "up" direction, to bring my point of impact up... I shoot again, hmmm, must have went too far down, and missed.... ya, thats how 30 or so rounds went... then I realized my retardedness on the last few.... still not quite there yet.. but I am always learning :(:D

Mistakes are how we learn. ;)
