I'm poor, one of you rich persons out there need to help a brother out and buy me a new Norinco M4 :D

Sadly, I got laid off my job .. right when I was poised to buy one .. alas, I must wait. DO NOT BUY THEM ALL .. you vultures :p

Save at least one for me!!!!

Do you have a (FRAUD ALERT) account? If you're going to beg in the modern age, you DEFINITELY need a (FRAUD ALERT) account.

Sure, I'll send you the funds you "need" ...... Right after I pay my own bills so collectors quit friggin' calling me about that bill I'm 3 months behind with .... And I'm sick, and you ain't .... So suck it up buttercup and start putting your toonies into a jar .... Just like everybody else .....

BTW : The ONLY reason I still HAVE a job at all, is because I happen to have a union job .... It ain't much, but hopefully it'll be enough time for the docs to figure out what's wrong with me before I get kicked to the curb.

Lol if I had a union job I would be making 10 bucks an hour less.

True but you also would not have to work real hard..:dancingbanana::stirthepot2::popCorn:

Ya but I don't like that. I hated when I used to work in a union plant for 5 years that guys were just pissing around drinking coffee all day while I had to pick up their slack. There was no accountibility and no rewards for being a go getter or a hard worker. But true if you are lazy the Union jobs are where its at. The Union always has your back no matter how incompetent or lazy you are. I am not generalizing cause I know lots of the guys I worked with were great workers but a few bad apples out there abuse the system.

A company will get the union it deserves. Having personally gotten the shaft due to personality conflict with a manager, I will say that it works both ways. No, I don't play nice with others, but, I do get the job done.

Well as far as $10 an hour less goes, I'm making over $32/hour in a trade. Others in a similar trade can make more in the private sector. But as soon as the price of oil drops they are out the door like a unappreciated piece of meat. I won't ever be rich I won't starve either. Sure there are big bucks, especially here in Alberta. But I sleep in my own bed every night. Have weekends off. All overtime or stat days worked are at double-time. Good benefits and a good government pension at 55. Annual tool allowance $$$. Training when you want or need it, all paid for and paid to attend including NAIT. And with my years in I get 6 weeks of paid vacation leave per year and can carry over what I don't use to the next year. That'll come in handy when hubby and I finish saving up so we can BOTH hunt in Africa!

So yuk it up for now about making big bucks. But whenever I've gone to the bank for loans or mortgages they only ask me "how much do you want?." Because they know I won't be laid off next week. I'm laying this all out so the younger Gunnutz here don't close their minds to union vs non-union jobs. There are great jobs in both.
