Seems like all you post about is how bad norincos are. How many have you actually owned?
You'd probably be surprised at how well their 1911's shoot out of the box. Or are honest 4'' groups not precise enough at 25 yards for a semi auto?
Oh and when should I expect mine to to fall apart? So far in 2000+ rounds mine hasn't given me one once of trouble. In fact Looking at the internals it barely looks like it's broken in.
Perhaps you should do a search on the np29 on here. As far as I can tell the people that own them aren't exactly throwing them away after a few sessions.

I'd definately recomend the norc line of 1911's in both .45 and 9mm for someone on a budget. Mine has faired well so far and even got me 4th place in the last bullseye competition our range had. Not too shabby considering everyone else brought wheelguns.
If norinco's don't turn your crank then I'd be looking in the EE for a good used gun. Sometimes you see a some good deals in your price range.
