Hello all

I live in Toronto and am looking for a skeet club to join: I'm new into the sport but have become completely hooked. I've yet to purchase my first firearm and would appreciate some input on what to buy, how much etc.

Once you find a club, I am thinking that some other shooters will let you try out their skeet guns, to see which ones suit you best.

I am sure others will chime in with alternatives, but for clubs with good facilities and competition quality equipment, I recommend you look at

-Hamilton Gun Club. Pure trap and skeet club. Friendly place.

-Toronto International Trap and Skeet. Also a good place.

Which one is easier to get to will depend on where you live in Toronto

Uxbridge Shooting Sports is the place you want to go. Try as many guns as you can lay your hands on. Look for a quality used gun in good condition. You can spend $400 to $800 in repairs fairly quickly on a worn hinge gun. Your first gun won't be your last, but a well fitting gun is the key to success in clay target shooting.
