Hey guys, trading for a CZ American in the EE, and I want to lighten up the trigger to under 2 pounds or so, but I have never done anything to a rifle other then clean it. Any links to some place with lots of step by step pics, preferably for a CZ, and what kits? I hear brooks are good and cheap.
Thanks,

Liam Ryan

If the CZ in question is a RF then the Brooks trigger kit is the way to go. His website has step by step instructions for the install. If its a CZ Centerfire rifle good luck! Hope it came with the set trigger just download the owners manual on CZ site.

X2 on the Brooks trigger kit. I have one on my CZ 452 American they are great.

Ordered mine, took about 10 days to get it and only $20.

When you start

shooting triggers in the ounces:eek: it is tough to go back to pounds.:( I worked mine to a clean and crisp 10 oz with aluminium tape and 1 spring change.:p I have not had 1 misfire or unsuspected fire. I bought it new and have around a couple thou thru it.

Now that is for shooting off of the bench. In hunting situations I would stay around 1.5 lbs.

"...under 2 pounds..." Too light. Even for a .22. Touch the trigger and it'd go off.
All my match rifles are well under 16OZ., and ny sporteres are pretty light as well.

I also have some rifles with set triggers.
it is all what you want to do with the rifle and how you use it.
