I’ve decided to buy a CZ 452. I’m not sure which model but right now it’s a toss up between the American and the Silhouette. I’m looking for any recommendations on where to but one – especially from an on-line dealer. I’m in Ontario, in the Ottawa region, so if anyone knows of a dealer/store in the area that would be great.

Thanks for the help.

www.gunsnthings.ca has the cheapest CZ prices around.

check out Illingworth Imports Inc

prices are way better than gunsandthings and scott is a great guy to deal with, also has the Hawke rings for scope mounting. Top of the line stuff.

I've never heard of them, where are they? Website?

I have an 452 American in .22LR and a Varmint in .17HMR. The American shoots 0.5" and the Varmint 0.4" ....5 shot groups @ 50M. When buying a CZ, I call several suppliers and as them to check test target groups and make my decision on the basis of the best group. If they won't check, I don't buy! Test target groups can vary considerably and in spite of the fact that you may find a particular brand of ammo that shoots better than the test group...I think the test group gives you something objective to consider when purchasing any rifle.

I don't know if I'd put that much faith in the test targets. It's not like a Kimber, where they have to shoot groups at 50 yards that are .400" or better (or whatever their measurement goal is), or they're not sold.
