hi there, im new here, and generally new to the idea of shooting silhouttes with highpower pistols. so my question is, what are most successful silhoutte shooters using for pistols, caliber, and loads, my limited research points me towards 45. lc in a ruger black hawk or super blackhawk, and misc other 357. and 44's could really use some insider input thank u

There are different classes, for revolver class the various Dan Wessons used to dominate, in .44 Mag. or .357 Max......MOA and Rem. XP100 Pistols dominated the other classes along with TC Contender, Merrill, etc.

Thompson Contender in 7 mm TCU and Dan Wesson .357 Mag for revolver. Both are easy to get brass for, and both will place well in shoots if you do your part.

We need MORE Silhouette Shooting!!
