help about Barrel Swap

my question is
i have found a A2 upper from Olympic Arms with 20 inch barrel

can i change the barrel for this one

Absolutely...you'll just need to find an appropriate carbine gas tube. The other thing is if your new front sight is "F" marked, it will not be the correct height to use with an A2 fixed carry handle upper. The "F" sight/gas block is for use with a flat top upper receiver. It will work good enough but you may run into some elevation problems.
 
Arms East for a Stag gas tube. If you are using a low profile gas block (Vltor in the pic) and a regular barrel nut you could get a set of Troy FF 9" rails from Target Sports. They would be easy to install and would give you good versatility when adding accessories (light, sling mounts, vertical grips etc.).

This would be your cheapest free float rail to get the rifle functioning.

You'd still need some sort of front sight. Again the Troy folding front is a great option.
