Will need to change gas block soon, the flash hider is off but crush washer is now bent so it the hole is smaller than the thread. I tried to clamp it with the pipe plier and twist it out. It will start a bit then the goes diagonal and get stuck in some weird direction. I heard people said I can cut it but with what tool and what way so I won't damage the barrel or thread? I don't wanna brute force it as much as I can. Any pic for some hints?

Zip disc on a dremel, hold the washer with a pair of plier or tape or something like that, cut one side it will open up enough to remove. Go slowly and be careful and you won’t damage anything.

Lol never underestimate the ability of someone to wreak absolute havoc with a zip disc.

Not saying that the OP is completely incapable with hand tools, probably not, but that's just a pretty ballsy statement to make. I've seen some pretty gnarly #### working in fab/machine shops, haha

Try holding the crush washer in the vice and rotating the barrel? you may? get it off using a "un-screwing" action with the barrel? the washer is pretty soft so be careful holding it in the vice.

This happened to me. I very carefully filed through most of the crush washer with a triangle shaped file. I then kept crushing the washer on opposite sides with pliers until it broke free. Be careful not to hit the threads lol.

that is absolutely the most time consuming and dangerous way to get it off. i have a habit of tightening my muzzle device so hard that the crush washer gets flatten, so i always use side cutter to cut them off. Husky brand pliers are very sharp!

I used the alternating crush method with some channel-lock pliers to remove a stuck crush-washer from my gun. Works well, but takes many crushes to work harden the thing to the point that it fails.
