Hey everybody just looking for some sound advice here or even, what would you do?

I bent the decapping pin on my lee 223 pacesetter deprime/resize die and have contacted lee to see if they'll send me out a few new pins.

Alternatively I'm thinking should i snap/cut off the bent pin before the expander ball and use it solely for resizing while depriming only with a universal decapper die?

Or you can probably get away with using the decapping pin from the universal decapping die in the 223 die. I've done this in the past without issue.

I bent a decapping pin on my 223 Lee die befor.

Mine got bent when I tried to remove the decapping pin with expander ball out of the case with a pair of pliers and in the process bent the pin. I used two set of pliers to unbend it.

How severe is the bend?

I can only find replacement universal decapper pins in Canada and not the specific one for the 223, I'm only finding those on lees website. Should I just try the universal pin in the 223 die or does somebody know a place that stocks the right part?

If you have a vice, use the top part of the vice as a 'anvil' and use a pliers to hold the decapping pin to slowly straighten out the pin?

I bought a set before from higginsons powder, after my stuck case episode as an insurance.

ASk Lee to send you 3 pins. I did that 5 years ago and it seems to have stopped me from breaking pins...

In the meantime, just carry on using the Universal decapper pin in the sizing die. So long as you use boat tail bullets, all will be good. Just a bit more neck tension.

Usually Lee will not replace anything for free (in my experience) unlike Dillon, RCBS and Redding. I purchased extras for my Lee dies from Higginson Powders so I could have them on hand.

Thanks for the input guys,
I'll see what the reps at lee can do and then give higginsons a call. Might aswell get some powder from them too while I'm at it!

Phone Lee in the states. They'll replace them for free. Infact last time I asked about getting more and the lady gave me three of each calibre I claimed to bend for FREE. Caveat is you pay shipping. So make up your list of broken pieces you need and make them worth you spending $20 for shipping. I've found the American lee customer service amazing.
