Help ! Broke my Lee 12g mould !

It was my Christmas present and it was the first day I used it.

Did almost 25lbs of lead when this happened !!!!!!!

Any ideas on how I can get it up and running again?

My output was pretty good for today till I broke it.

I would have to dig mine out, but I think with heavy leather gloves you could set the center in each time. Not sure how it attaches without looking at mine, but I think with the mold blocks closed around it will stay in place. Of course you can mail it to Lee for a new one but that will take 2 weeks.
 
I found mine and it appears that the little stub on the bottom is peened over the handle to hold it on. If that material has broke away you may or may not be able to hammer it out again, or thread it as mentioned above. I would probably send it back to Lee for a new one since it is brand new.
 
By the way-very nice slugs :)

Are you using pure lead or WW?I could never get really good fill of the mold with pure lead,not to mention that perfect shine...

THese are pure lead from a stained glass store that went bankrupt. IT was all free( apprx 2200lbs) since they threw it out the back.

PS - dont hate me for this.
 
If bought at a chain store like WSS or Cabella's the store will exchange it. If not call Lee's customer service. They will replace it.
