I sent a smith and Wesson in for warranty repair to grech outdoors last July. It had a broken trigger stud. Still no eta for the trigger stud. Anyone have one or could tell me where to get one.
I recall there was a thread on CGN last fall (re complaints about Grech) where someone posted the direct contact e-mails for hall the head honchos at S&W. A search might turn it up or someone here might remember it. I'd contact S&W directly snd ask them why their so-called new service centre can't get its ducks in a row. There is zero excuse for a delay on a simple part like that on a quality revolver.
I already contacted smith and Wesson. I miss murray Charlton Ive broke trigger studs before as I used to use it in ipsc. Lots of dry and livefire. Murray have it back to me in a couple weeks.
Yep. Used Murray plenty of times for very detailed work on some prized Colts.... Also went to Gretch in person for some very easy S&W 686 work and got attitude and no repair.
I ordered a new ratchet from Numrich in the US, paid all the fees and fit and fixed it myself. Thanks for nothing S&W! The sad part is Canadian market is so small I don't think they give a hoot.
Thanks everyone brownells cant ship there is a restriction, numrich can not take orders from Canada right now, trade exs does not have a trigger stud for n frame I appreciate everyones help.
Check Numrich again...I ordered a center pin for a 629 with no problem (stainless used, 9.50...but you get dinged on delivery: all intl. orders shipping is 16.50 ...we're talking USD here)
