HELP!! BRowning BLR PROBLEM

hey im having a tough time figureing out if i have a pre 81 or not BLR i went to browning with the serial number but it didnt seem to make any sense
mabey im just having a brain fart the gun was given to me as a gift with no mag and the mags differ apparently
so the serial number goes"09###K57"
any ideas?

my issue is that there is only 2 numbers following the letter i have been to the browning website and the numbers are either preceeded by 2 numbers for the year or followed by 3 numbers for the modle

It looks like the older model with the "K" in the serial number. Why not go to a gunshop and try the magazine, sort of like Cinderella, if it fits you've found the right one.

Shouldn't the model be BLR81 for the later model and BLR for the older?
