I know I've seen a thread on CGN somewhere but I can't find it. My question is: If the current owner of the handgun I'm buying has let his RPAL expire will I be able to transfer it to my name?
 
Phone your CFO or the GUN registry tomorrow morning and ask them. If the deal is going to go sideways then you don't want to involved in it until the seller gets all his ducks in a row.

18007314000, theyre always helpful and friendly. The preconsieved notion of them trying to 'bust' everyone is false, maybe in a few years from now if the red and white really try to crack down on everyone they will give us a hard time. But even if you've screwed something up, they know your only calling to get regestries in order. Every one of my many many calls getting MY ducks in a row have been nothing but pleasent and helpful.
