I heard that if any issue comes up with the shadow it would be breaking the trigger spring.
This was happening to guys who would go with vigorous practice sessions of 100's of dry fires, non stop, fast as possible. Spring may have got hot, it is very short.
Lube the spring. It is right there when you clean the gun.

Along with the other parts you can get various OEM springs for tuning your Shadow from Ghost Products in the US.
I'm looking at doing my own trigger job shortly and from what I've seen all I'll need is to slightly lighten up the main spring to lighten the double action stroke. The single action is so smooth and light that I'm fine with it as it comes. They are a shade rough at first but with the first few hundred rounds through the gun it smoothens out and lightens up nicely. It's not feather light but I don't think I want it that way for now.

Just a note for the OP....the G34/G35 are not approved for Production Div.
They are a competitive Standard Division gun, however, for an IPSC new shooter.

Production Division in the US is limited to 10 rounds for all guns anyways, so no advantage there either
Of the three originally listed I'd go with the STI and shoot it in classic division. Probably in 9mm instead of .45 to take advantage of the extra 2 rounds. As good a gun as any listed but almost unlimited in the number of mods allowed, no optics, no comp, no thumb ledge, no railed frame or lightening cuts, but that's about it for limited items. SA trigger, you can polish it as much as you like, mag well can be added, change out any part or type of sight and refinish all without worth about being bumped to Open.

I've learned the game with a Glock 22. 180gr @750 GPS makes for a nice soft recoil. I wasn't taking it seriously last year but went from unclassified to a C class. Because I could, I just bought a shadow to try out. Lets see how that goes in a month or so.
I know I can sell the shadow quickly if I don't prefer it.
