Don't know the first thing in picking a bipod or what is needed to mount one.

Searched here under the rimfire section with keywords of cooey and bipod and came up empty.

Researching on the web, I need swivel mounts (which the cooey does not have), and I need to know the height I want the front to sit at (such as 6", 9", or 12"), and I possibly need to pick a brand specific model that will work on the cooey (winchester, browning, etc.) might be possible to get a universal.

So I come here to the knowledgeable types and ask.

I am using it mostly for target, might use it later for small game. Learning to shoot, how to be consistent, how to hold, etc. I would like to use a bipod to reduce the number of variables that I affect simply by holding the rifle, using some homemade jigs at the club, some different bean bags, etc.

This will be for a Cooey 60 tube fed .22

I hope I have included enough information.

I was going to say a Harris bipod and a sling swivel mount for the forestock, but then you said Model 60 Cooey.. not sure what's out there that will work on a tube fed gun. You might be better off using sandbags for bench shooting, and you might have to live with freehand elsewhere, unless you are able to go prone to use the sandbag(s).
