Help choosing a case trimmer...

Anyone had experience with the Forster trimmer you use on/with a drill press??

Picked up a Mastercraft drill press at CT today on sale for $89.00. It cost me $31.00 tax incl using the bongo points on my card. Figgured I may as well slap a Forster unit on it for quick and dirty .223 trimming. That's probably the biggest job the press can handle without burning out the motor anyway ;) .

i run a forster that was handed down to me from my dad, i couldn't begin to tell you how times its been used, she definately doesn't look new but she still works.

i just bought the power adapter for it from sinclairs ($12.95) and am powering it with this

no matter which trimmer you choose, powered is the cat's arse:D

I usually trim all my brass either once or twice a year, depending on how much use they get.

That is essentially what I do as well. Usually around the Christmas break, I run through all my brass from the previous shooting season

I use my Wilson trimmer but a powered unit would be the cats ass....anything to speed up the worst damn part of brass prep.

Once you have one, you will be kicking yourself for not getting it sooner.;)
