hey, i got the day off work, and decided to buy some powder to try and use my new powder thrower. could somebody tell me what type of powder to buy, i never checked my manual because i didn't think i would be bying today. I'm sooting 270 win, 140 gr hornady btsp. looking for a ball powder as i have imr 4350, but can't throw it accuratley. thought i'd try a ball powder. thanks.

You could also try the new IMR 4007 which is a "short cut" powder as is H 4831SC and IMR 7828 Super Short Cut . These Short cut powders were developed to throw well through a measure.
