I have looked all over and have not found really good instructions on how to convert the carrying handle version to a flat top. Anyone do it or know where there is more info on it. Also any tips. Thanks and yes I have searched this on CGN already

There are pics on this site. I used them to cut my handle off. I used a hand saw and dremmel to improve looks. I bought a metal airsoft rail. Way cheaper than a gun rail. $50 cheaper.
Used a washer larger than the stock washer supplied with the rail. Had to dremmel out a support inside the housing but it wasn't bad. Just a warning, everytime you clean your gun and take it apart, you will lose your zero on the rail. That's why I bought a flat top when they came out.
Being honest, cutting the handle is great but it's also a pain to keep the rail straight and zeroed.

Sell the Mossberg Plinkster wrapped in plastic and ante up and get yourself a S&W 15-22

Lol sell your smith and Wesson 15-22 and ante up with a .223 M4. I know they are plastic but For the price and what they are I really like them. I actually just ended up trading for a flattop so now I have both.

And yes if I lived in an area where I could freely shoot the s&w I probably would buy that too
