Help DILLIGAF buy a M1 Garand

Look what just showed up :)

I just reloaded some ammo for my Garand using 165gr Hornady SSTs and IMR4064 to take with with me when I'm doing a crop claim on a "bear heavy" ranch on Friday. I see those suckers in the bush every time I'm out there, incl sows with cubs, and I just can't run as fast as I used to.

This rifle has one of the Marlin contract barrels which were supplied to the US Army as replacements in the early 1950s. Somehow using a Garand with a barrel from a sporting rifle maker seems appropriate in this case.;)

I'm going to carry an extra clip in my pocket in case of a mass charge when the bears hear the "pling" of the first empty en bloc being ejected.:rolleyes:

You know... those kinda crop claims, thanks to captain McFancystocks of Gropegateville will soon no longer require armament and a cautious approach to harvesting ;)
