Help! I lost my 10/22 hammer spring assembly!

So I have my gun all apart for cleaning and I stupidly left the door to the spare bedroom where I do most of my gun maintenance on an old chest in the corner. Put it back together last night and test fired and nothing. Took it back apart and noticed that the hammer spring assembly was gone.

My 3.5 year old must have gotten in there and was playing with my parts. I asked her and she said she knew where it was this morning and I spent the next minute following her until she pulled out a piece of playdough from under the coffee table and said "is this it?" I knew I was screwed after that!

Anyone know where I can buy a replacement?

Wham-O has an EE add with a bunch of parts, and entire trigger groups.

Might see if he has anything.

you could probably buy a replacement from brownells.com. If it comes to it, you can buy a whole trigger group for around $40.

Found it!!!! She had put it into one of her playdough plastic containers. So the playdough thing wasn't too far off this morning afterall

Note to self, NEVER loose that part again!!!! BAN all playdough in the house!!! lol
