I recently acquired a very , very nice custom made bolt action rifle , chambered in 300 H&H . On top of the barrel is engraved " Keane No.2 " Does anyone recognize this makers name ?
Thanks !!!!!!!!!
Brian
As a follow up , I have taken some photos of this rifle which show some of the detail this maker put into his work . Thanks for looking and also any help you may be able to give in order to identify this person .

I have added some pics of the action to show that it is not a P17 action . The side on view of the stock would suggest that it has the "belly" of the P17 but it is simply the way the forearm has been shaped.

Here are a few more pics of the under side of this rifle which shows that the "belly ' is not real , just the shape of the stock which suggests this . The blind mag holds 3 rounds and with a bit of care a 4th rd can be chambered
Thanks !!!!!!!!!
