I was wondering if any of you CGN barrel fitters had come across these barrel markings before and can help me out with their origin. The half moon trade mark and T.K.N. has me puzzled, it looks like a cut rifled barrel if that helps any, and obviously 30 cal and chrome moly. Regards David Henry

Sorry attempts to post some pictures of the barrel shank have failed.
Please delete this thread as its useless with out pictures, and yes I have gone over and over the picture posting primer.

The only things that are a puzzle are the TKN and the half moon stamps...

Just a wild guess but I'm thinking it came from the Half Moon Barrels shop in Columbia Falls, Montana. I've been meaning to run down and check it out but just have not gotten around to it.

Well Bill that's the best guess so far I suppose, I have had the barrel for over 15 years and got it in a bit of a bulk purchase deal. I will try to Google Half Moon Barrel Shop and see what shows up. Thanks, D.H.
