Help identify this Marlin .22

Looks very much like my 3 Marlin model 81 DLs....... 17 LR down the tube and off ya go. Should have a peepsight on the left rear of the action or perhaps the holes are there for mounting one. great rifle out to 200 yards with the 24 inch barrel. I use mine each spring and summer in the gopher fields as I have never had any mechanical problems with it , even though thousands each month go out the muzzle. the model number should be stamped on the barrel.
