Identifying old Belgian proofed revolver
If I read this correctly, the * over P would be the mark for a Proof Controller by the name of Delcommune Adolphe, who was in position from 1952 to 1960.
If it were an antique, the calibre could be contested - as it may not be a .32 Short Colt, Long Colt or SW Short or Long. If you accurately measure the bore, you may find it .317 instead of .313. This would make it a 320 revolver - which is identifiably different cartridge.
It surely not being an antique anyways, this is irrelevant in this case.
