Help identify this rifle please!

Doing a favour for a friend, who needs to identify this rifle from an estate. Only markings he can find are "1944". I have very little knowledge about red WWII era red rifles. I know the pics are bad but any ideas? Thanks.

Does it have the mag? I wouldn't pay over $200 if it doesn't.

275-350 with mag otherwise 175-200.

Looks like a gun I had as a kid. M42B that was in 6.5 x 55 and was made in Sweden. Not sure though.
