Help identify

Bought a fixer up the other day and wondered if anyone has a guess what it might be. It s a bolt action 308 win with no manufacturing name . Broke it down to refinish and under the barrel it says 308 and spain. Very nice monte carle stock and mauser action. I ll try to post pictures.

Aa for now I can say its a Spanish built rifle with a Mauser action.

years ago there were Santa Barbara Mauser Kits, that consisted of a barreled action and unfinished stock, could it have been one of those ?

Thanks dave524 I think you nailed it. Looked up pictures of santa barbara rifles/kits and thats what I ve got. Thanks again.
