So I picked up an norinco cq-a
I know nothing about it, Gotta start somewhere right?
Anyways I'm trying to identify some parts as I was told it has alot of aftermarket stuff on it.
Is this a stock barrel? It measures 10.5"?

Is this the stock bolt? If not any idea what brand?

Is this rod supposed to be bent like this?

I also noticed is has a Daniel defense pistol grip, magpul stock, magpul forgrip and troy tri rail thing that covers the barrel (handguard)
What would one say this gun would be worth in the ee?

The thing you've called a rod is actually the gas tube and it is supposed to have a bend in it; it looks like yours has turned itself sideways a bit in the gas block.

I say some wheres around 650 maybe max700$.

That gas tube is bent more than it should, also looks like its bent sideways. Unless you took out the roll pin that holds it and just spun around inside the gas block?

The roughness and crude machining on the bolt wants me to make me thing is factory. Just maybe someone laser engraved something.

That "forgrip" isnt magpul... more like cheap airsoft forgrip. Also, that Troy clamshell handguard is designed to be used with a front sight post, which seems to have been removed in place of a low profile gas block. Im assuming the handguard must wobble quite a bit, which isnt very safe...

The Bolt carrier appears to be AAC - the logo is visible towards the front of the carrier, where the bolt inserts. The 'silver' finish is what seems to be a Nickel Boron coating.

EDIT: the pistol grip is from Daniel Defense

Logo on the bolt kinda look like AXTS but not really sure, I highly doubt someone would take the time and money to engrave a stock norc bolt...

Gaz tube supposed to be bent but yours looks more than it should as mentioned.

Vertical front grip isn't magpul. Looks maybe like a tapco.

EDIT: Yeah, AAC, not AXTS. And indeed, looks liek NB coating.

I just seen the crude machining and the wavy guides. Like my Norc carrier had. I just wouldn't expect that level of ####ty machining from AAC.

That is an AAC nickel boron bolt carrier group, I own the exact same one, and the bolt in it is also the AAC bolt that comes with it. The D stamp does not mean Daniel Defense, mine came with the same D stamp in it from AAC

Its a really nice BCG, I don't know what the person who said crude machining is talking about, its a nice quality and machined $300+ tax BCG. Maybe the pictures or nickel boron coating are making you see something different but its a very nicely machined BCG

This is what you have it sells for $299 in Canada

Ok great so it does have something but it looks like the only Daniel defense thing on it is the grip.
The barrel has no markings on it. I looked it over twice .
Does that mean it is stock? The flash hider looks the same as my m305 socom. So I'm guessing it's norinco also
