Picked up a replacement 8mm barrel for my vz24 a couple years back. Curious what the markings are? On the rear sight there is a couple circle Z marks. On the front left side of the front sight there are three other marks, one is a circle BK. A boxed W that follows the outline shape of the W. And finally a 5 stamped in it. Another difference I noted was the front sight is slotted for a sight guard, where the vz24 is not. Barrel is in good shape and would work well on a shooter curious what it is from? Thanks again.

I had read that a German armoury was moved to city of Radom in Poland following WWI - war reparations?? - they produced Mauser 98 style rifles - I have what is left of Radom WZ-98 rifle, in 8x57. I had thought "circle Z" was a mark for BRNO - became CZ, later - but apparently "Circle Z" also used in Radom production? May want to read up on that to find a mark similar to what you are seeing??
