Hi guys,

I was given what appears to be a combo tool, but I have no further information (just going on a hunch that it is military in origin). Does anyone recognize what this is for? I'd like to be able to look up some info on how to use it.

Thanks very much,
Stirling

Just to add, it's a Canadian FN C1A1 combo tool. There are different ones out there for other countries FN's. Yours is in great shape and the gas port scraper is still intact.

Thanks very much to the above posters for their help. I was thrown off because I recalled being told by the person who gave it to me that it was an Enfield tool of some sort.

Now that I know what to look for, I found pictures of the Australian L1A1 tool, which is similar, and also read some references to the C1A1 tool.

Good stuff, thanks!

The little hook is to reef open the gas plug.
The bigger hook is the click over the gas regulator.
The little square block-ey thing is a scraper for inside the gas block.
I forget what the folding pin is for, but the screwdriver is for removing the handguard and clicking the backsight left or right.
