Help identifying German Medals

No way. Wehrmacht Awards Forum is one of the worst places for fakes. WAF has its share of real bad Dealers and Shills.
You get banned on the forum if you call out the crooks and bad dealers!

Just recall the SS Champagne Rune SS helmets. Fake as a $3 bill. The helmets and decal were Painted in an auto body shop!
The biggest SS collector in Edmonton called out the Fake SS Champagne Rune scam. Excellent!
It’s on the net too for you to research.
USA Author Kelly Hicks was selling and promoting them in his book which is more lies! Another crook!
Normandy Camo Helmets are another high demand faked helmet!
Wake Up and Smell the Coffee Boys! Fakes bring Big Money $$$$$$$. Do your research!
Don’t pay $10,000 to $15,000 for a $300 Fake Helmet!

Ok. I ve used it for information and found the members very helpful and I have no reason to think I’ve been taken. If the scammers are scamming the experts,you can imagine how easy a novice could be duped. It’s just another forum to use. I’m sure you can get swindled anywhere on the net. Especially high end stuff which I don’t buy

I'm thinking, as things in Germany deteriorated, the quality of medals would have gone down hill as well, which could make a fake easier to pass off.

That’s exactly as I see it. All glory with tombac which is an attractive and long wearing alloy to zinc which eroded easily. Plus less attention to detail. Pomp and pageantry was out the door.I’m not sure but I’d guess medals and badges were handed out right till the very end of the war. Amazingly
