I bought a Ross over the weekend and I can't find what flavour it is. All I've been able to find is that it's a Mk 2, but I don't see any markings calling it what mk 2 it is.
Im excited to take it to the range and play with it. It also desperately needs a new rear sight, but that will be something in the future.

Works better right side up.

I finally took this to the range a little while back. The extractor doesn't really work. But the gun didn't blow up in my face. I'm looking forward to getting this back into a presentable shape.

It won’t pull the cartridge out of the chamber or the ejector doesn’t kick the spent casing off the bolt face?

Is the chamber rough? Or is the extractor just popping over the rim?
That's kind of what I'm thinking. It was recommended I try filing any ridges off the extractor just in case it's worn. I've got to find some videos on how to take apart a Ross bolt that arent someone telling me not to, it's a bad idea.

That one is a MkII so you don’t have to worry about reassembling it wrong. To pull the extractor off the bolt simply work the extractor off the bolt head carefully with the bolt extended. Once the extractor is ahead of the bolt head it will just slide right out of its groove. You just reverse this to put it back on. Should be as far as you need to go hopefully.
