Help Identifying This Firearm!

Hi all!

I was recently at a relatives house and he pulled out this old double barrel rifle/shotgun, side x side.

I took a couple pictures, which I have posted here, but I didn't take any of the whole firearm.

Anyway, if anyone knows anything about this and they can tell me from these pictures I would love some info in it...

William Parkhurst, made in Belgium, 12ga.
Has the P.V. nitro proof, so it was designed for smokeless. Chamber size is most likely 2.5" or 65mm, so even the little 2.75" target loads are too long for it. Made after 1893, and probably before WW2. Check for barrel to action play, I'm sure they will be plenty. I wouldn't shoot it. Looks rough.
 
Belgian made combination gun. Looks to be modest quality. Not uncommon.
"Parkhurst" probably intended to be confused with "Parker".

That's great. Thanks so much for the quick reply.

It does appear to be 12g beside some rifle caliber...I see "7.5" inscribed on the other barrel. Could this be 7.5mm?

Chamber cast would be the best bet on the rifle barrel. Have seen the more common belgain Cape guns most in .44-40 for the rifle barrel but it could as well be a rook type cartridge.
 
The rifle side is some sort of 30 cal based on the 7.6 but without a chamber cast, It's anyone's guess. No nitro proofing on the shotgun side, and the 18mm indicate the choke diameter.

YES. The Belgians made some doubles as good as any made anywhere. But guns made for the hardware trade were pretty cheaply constructed. I've seen Barker Bros., LC Schmidt and a few others trying to capitalize on premium brands.
