HELP ... Leupold 1.5-5x20 MARK 4 MR/T ...

I have a leupold 1.5-5x20 and mounted on my M14 ... with QRW release rings ... I have shot out to 100 yards and dialed it all the way down and I'm still hitting 6 inches high ... have I set this up wrong somehow? I need help ASAP!

Sounds more like the mount issue than a scope or ring issue. What mount do you currently have on this set-up?
 
Did you dail the caps down all the way down then undo the caps little allen keys in the turret then move them up to 300m reset /tighten the allen keys and adjust as required word of caution DO NOT attempt to turn the elevation drum past the stop
 
Savage, I'm a dummy ... I found another ARMs#18 mount I had ... and the front part of the mount had a type of circlip that was missing on the first one and the allen screw was loose ... so I'm assuming the mount was not flush with the receiver. I removed and put on the new ARMS mount ... played with the front and rear holes that screw up and down to where I think it'll work and tightened the allen screws. I'm going to the range tomorrow weather permitting and see what happens ... I have no instructions or pictured instructions for this thing ... :(
