For the record, all of my target guns wear SFP. Most target shooting is done at known ranges and having a consistent reticle size helps me.
When I am in the field shooting varmints, the opposite is true because the ranges are dynamic and constantly changing.
I do like my FFP 6-24x Sightron, but If I were forced to convert all my rifles to either first or second focal plane, my personal choice is second focal plane.
