Hey all.
I need some help finding 303 British surplus near Toronto.
The supply seems to have dried up.
My kids would like to throw a bunch of ammo down range, but at over $1 a round this doesn't look like fun.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I think the supply has run dry, I see some in small quantity's at gun shows time to time, but its always more than $1.00 a round.

That would be my next step after starting to collect some brass.
Just wanted to get out to the range sooner rather than later and start the brass collection.
Thanks.

Hop in I will take you to all the surplus 303 you will ever need

Buy 2 boxes of 303 so everyone gets a turn...
Also buy an SKS with some surplus 7.62x39 and let them go to town for the equivalent price you may have expected to pay.

Welcome to the wonderful whining world of the .303 surplus seeker! Like all of us, you've discovered the dearth of reasonably priced .303 surplus. I grew up in the day when it was as common as a cold and cheap as hell. The last reasonably priced milsurp ammo I saw was some South African stuff and later the Greek HXP stamped surplus which (sadly) seemed to have gone mostly to our southern neighbours. In a nutshell, RELOAD! I love Ellwood Epps for reloading stuff! I find them better priced and better stocked than either Bass Pro or Cabelas. Depending on where you live, it's a bit of a hike so it's worth your time to do some research, make some calls, and make a list of components you need/want. At the end of the day, you'll achieve better accuracy and even for "plinking" ammo, you'll bring down your cost per round. If you wish, and you're not too far from Etobicoke, shoot me a PM. I have some brass, cleaned, sized, and primed that I could give you to start you off.
