HELP, looking for new 9mm Springfield 1911

Ok so I'm a complete idiot. My wife tried out a 1911 Springfield 9mm that she loved and I DIDN'T buy it fast enough, someone snapped it up. I am trying to find one in the next week so that I can get it transferred and shipped in time to give it to her for Christmas. Has anyone who reads this seen one recently at their favorite gun dealer (in Canada eh?)?

There is nothing better at the club than women shooters. On my turf, it is almost impossible to get the fair ### to join the club and come out and shoot. If only, right? One or two might mention an interest, but when push comes to shove, they pretty much disappear.
Save some bucks and buy her that very nice S&W M&P instead....

Armco has the STI 9mm 1911s, in both standard and compact versions.

They could be your good 2nd choice if you can't dig up a Springfield in time for Christmas.

All 9mm 1911s feel similar when you shoot them, because most parts of the guns are identical. If your wife likes the Springfield, she will like the STIs.

She may even like the Norinco NP-29.......

I've shot a Springfield 9mm.
I've shot an STI Trojan. 9mm.
I own a Trojan in .40.
The 9mm Trojan was heads above the Springfield.
Theres an STI Trojan 9mm on the EE.
Grab it!
 
Chick friendly pistol

Have you looked at a Glock?
They are lighter than most.
It has very few parts to it and for a beginer
it is a perfect pistol to learn on.
How to srtip and clean it
and understand how pistols function.
My 6 year old can field strip it.(when I'm with HER.)

My wife loves the Imbel (read: Springfield) Milspec 1911 9mm because it (installed Thin Pearce rubber grips) fits her small/medium sized hands perfectly. She loves the light recoil and the magazines are easy to stuff.

She tried my Glock 17 and Browning HP... just did not like stuffing the stiff spring magazines. She loves the 1911 single stack.

Who am I to argue ?

Don't buy ONE, buy two of them... My 1911 Sprinfield Milspec is in .45 ACP.

Good shopping finding her a 1911 single stack 9mm...

Hey brother, his wife want a Springfield, a good husband should sell his kidney to buy her one no matter how expensive:D If my wife want a 1911,
I will go for a STI Ranger instead.
