Instead of finding a 1911 (in my previous threads) I have decided to build an AR15 instead!
Like the title states. I have been researching the website over the easter long weekend, and I have read the AR 15 CDN Dealer Offerings.
Can someone help me price out the best bang for your buck set up?
I am looking to buy it in pieces (upper/lower) and slowly build one up, that way I can learn how this rifle works.
I currently live in Calgary. I have seen that Wolverine and ArmsEast have the best prices. If anybody out west know of a local shop that will match the prices let me know.
I was at the gun show over the weekend and saw some very nice setups.
If you guys can help me out it would be awesome!!
The main questions I have is:
1) what lower and upper parts are rated the more durable brands?
2) what barrel length do most people recommend using?
3) is there another vendor you would recommend to order scopes and other accessories?
I would like to keep the build around the $1000 mark (give or take a couple hundread) without special accessories.
I have seen the Norinco's but would rather build one from better brands.
Thanks for the help guys!
